Patrick Fitzgerald Scott Sr., 55, died Friday, Sept. 13, 2019, in his hometown of Eudora.
He was born June 22, 1964 and graduated from Eudora High School in 1982. He worked for Air Con, Inc. and Eudora Garment before being disabled, then entered back into the workforce at Cotton Picker Works for a time.
He was a former member of Bloomyshade Missionary Baptist Church and a current member of King James Missionary Baptist Church where he served as an usher.
He was preceded in death by his youngest brother, Christopher DeShawn Scott.
Survivors include his parents, James and Ora Scott; seven daughters, Mona Griffin, Latarsha Parham, Ericka Rafter, April Rafter, Aeriel Scott, and Taya Scott, all of Little Rock, and LaTieia Gill of Eudora; one son, Patrick Fitzgerald Scott Jr.; four brothers, James W. Scott Jr. of Monticello and Louis E. Scott Sr., Robert T. Scott, and Michael E. Scott Sr., all of Eudora; two sisters, Lillie Scott and Sandra Thornton, both of Eudora; 19 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m. at Zion Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Eudora with Rev. David L. Green Sr. officiating. Burial was in Hill Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Darren Hester, Claude Smith, Lamar Keith, Johnny Smith, Greg Alexander, and Eddie Spiller.
Arrangements were entrusted to Bethune Funeral Service.
