Ethel Mae Jackson, age 91, of Lake Village, died Monday, May 31, 2021 at Chicot Memorial Medical Center. 

She was a native of the Red Leaf community, a retired restaurant cook, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Jeanet Martin-Jackson; three sisters, Gladys Sweney, Beulah Jones, and Nancy Herring; and three brothers, Charlie White Jr., Joe Willie Johnson, and Willie Lee Johnson. 

She is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Stoke of Lake Village; one sister, Lorrine Wade of Lake Village; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Sunday, June 6 at 2 p.m. at Central Community Baptist Church in Lake Village with Rev. Arthur L. Haney officiating. 

Pallbearers were Keondrit Plummer, Stephan Paul, Lamar Hemphill, Rushone Miller, Joe Willie Johnson Jr., and Michael Johnson. 

Honorary pallbearers were her nephews.

Service was under the direction of Cromwell Funeral Home.
