Alberta Washington Dyer, 93, died Feb. 27, 2023 at her home in Eudora. She was born Nov. 22, 1929 in Eudora and was a member of Church of God in Christ in Eudora.
She was preceded in death by her husband, McKinley Booker Dyer; her parents, Will Washington and Maggie Thomas; and one son, Clarence Lenear.
She leaves six children: Katherine Brown, Patricia Gill, Billy Dyer, Eddie Dyer, Albert Dyer, and Carrie Hughes; 35 grandchildren; and 62 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service was held Sunday, March 5 at 2 p.m. in Hill Cemetery in Eudora with Pastor Kentrell Woods officiating.
Arrangements were entrusted to Bethune Funeral Service.
