Owner of lost treasure sought

Stacy Roark likes to find things. Historical things. Over the course of time she has found items lost in the dirt, things like WWII Nazi buckles and tokens from where the Japanese Internment Camp was out near Jerome. One item of particular significance is a military ring found many years ago. The ring belonged to an American WWII veteran.

It has the branch of service he was in and the battle he fought in. Coming across it again recently, she decided to try to find the owner or his family. She turned to Jerry Williamson, Past Commander of the American Legion, W.T. Cokley Post 7 for help. The ring was found in the field across from where the old Pierini store was located, near the Cow Pen.

If anyone knows who it belonged to, call Commander Williamson at 870-265-1205.
