The Lakeside High School boys’ doubles tennis team worked together to compete in a series of tennis matches in the Arkansas 8-3A district tennis competitions.

The team, consisting of Daniel Palomares and Allan Mondragon, along with their coaches, Terry Johnson and Maggie Hess, traveled to Pine Bluff to compete in the tournament at the Blooms Tennis Center. They placed second in the tournament and went on to compete in the 3A state tennis tournament in Conway.

The Lakeside team lost to Atkins 6-3, 3-6 and 4-6.

At the March 5 Lake Village city council meeting, Palomares and Mondragon received copies of Resolution NO. 03-19 congratulating them on behalf of the citizens of Lake Village.
