Re’Nirya Terry, from University of Arkansas Fayetteville, and Justice Jimmerson, of University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology McGehee, teach painting at J. Austin White Cultural Center of Eudora’s Ninth Annual Arts and Exploration Summer Camp. The camp began June 10 and will end July 12. It is set up with three sessions based on the kids’ ages. The age groups are kindergarten through second grade, third grade through fifth grade, and sixth grade through eighth grade. The center runs these camps each summer and provides free lunch and snacks. The kids get to participate in art, music, theater, science and more. College students from Eudora come in to plan the activities and provide the instruction for the kids.
